Our mission at King’s Clinical Trials Unit is to assure excellence, efficiency and transparency in the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of clinical trials, for the benefit of patients and society.
KCTU is formed of collaborative academic and operational teams, supporting a portfolio of high-quality clinical trials. Centralised expertise streamlines delivery of the most complex aspects of trials.

To collaborate with KCTU, a brief support request form must be submitted.
We strongly advise that researchers approach KCTU at the grant application stage, ideally 3-4 months in advance of the submission deadline to get the best possible input and consideration.
Requests for support are circulated to the relevant senior academic and operational staff for consideration, to ensure that the best possible match between the trial and the expert collaborator is achieved.
The King’s CTU has been awarded full CTU registration by the UKCRC
This unit receives National Institute for Health Research CTU Support Funding. This funding has been awarded to support the unit in developing and supporting NIHR trials.
